God bless you :) Today we will study about the sabbath.
Actually through the bible we can find out that God appointed the day of worship.
Do you know what day of the week is the day of worship God appointed ?
Many people think that day is Sunday.
But we can not find out sunday worship in the bible.
Then, Let's see what day of the week is the biblical worship day.
first of all let's see Gen 2:1
Genesis 2:1 .... By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. And God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.
As you know , God created all things in 6 days. After creation of the world , God made the senventh day .
And the , What did he do ?
We can fine out the three things. God rested , blessed and made it holy.
Then , think about it !
Why did God made the seventh day ?
Does God need rest ? Does God need to be blessed ? Does God need to be made holy ?
Of course not !
Then , why ?? for himself ? no !!!! for us !!!!
God gave us the seventh day for us .
Therfore So important !
Because it is so important , God made it as a commandment among 10 commandments.
Let's go to Exo 20.
Acually this chapter is so famous chapther. About 10 commandments.
Let's see 4th commendment today.
Exodus 20:8 Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy... but the seventh day is a sabbath to the LORD your God .... but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.
If you read hear, we can understand God gave us a special name of the seventh day that is the Sabbath day , which means rest.
And then , God said what ?
Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy !
Remember means what ?
Don't forget ! right ? We can't forget this Sabbath day.
And God promised to us that we can receive blessing and be holiness from God through the Sabbath day , seventh day.
Do you want to receive blessing from God ?
Of course ! then, What shoud we do ? We should keep the Sabbath day , seventh day.
then , what day of the week is the Sabbath day , seventh day ? That is problem ! We should know to keep that day.
Let's see calendar.
What day of the week is the first day of the week ? Sunday.
What about the seventh day of the week ? Saturday. right ??
Then, Let's find the dictionary.
If you try to find out the meaning of Sunday , you can find that day is the first day of the week.
Saturday is the seventh day of the week.
so clear !
But the most important thing for christian is the bible.
Let's confirm through the bible.
Before looking the bible , Let's think about it !
What is the two most holiday for Christianity ? christmas and ester. right ?
today , Let's think about ester .
Do you know ester is celebrated on which day ?
Sunday .
then , What do they celebrat on the ester sunday ? The resurrection of Jesus christ.
Actually Jesus Christ resurrected on sunday. Therefor nowadays many peple keep the ester on sunday.
Let's see mark 16
Mark 16:9 when Jesus rose early on the first day of the week , ......
This chapter is about the Resurrection of Jesus christ.
rose means what ?
resurrection . right ?
Jesus christ resurrected on the first day of the week that is Sunday.
We can understant more clear . verse 1
Mark 16:1 When the Sabbath was over ....... The first day of the week ,
The sabbath was over the first day of the week is Sunday.
Do you think it is possible the sabbath day and sunday can be same ? never ! It can not !
We can understand The sabbathe day is Saturday.
Then , Why most of christian go to church on Sunday , not Saturday that is worship day God appointed.
Let's see !
Jn 8:47 He who belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.
What did God say ? 10 commendments , right ?
Those who belongs to God hears What God says ,That means , Thase who belongs to God keep the God's commendments.
Then , What is God's commendment ? Sunday worship ? or Sabbathe day , the seventhday , saturday ?
Saturday !!!!!!!
Those who don't keep the Sabbath day dont's belongs to God.
Do you want to belong to God ?
Then What should we do ! We should keep the Sabbath day .
Then , What is consequence who do not keep the Sabbath day ?
Let's move to Mt 7:21
Matthew 7:21 Not everyone who says to me , 'LORD , LORD ' will enter the kingdom of heaven , but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
Think about it ! Who are the people who say to Jesus Christ 'LORD LORD' ? Christian ! Believer ! right ?
But just say Not Everyone .....
Only who ? Only those who do the will of God can enter the kingkom of heaven.
What is the will of God ? Sabbath day ? or Sunday ?
verse 22 Many will say to me on that day , 'Lord ,Lord, did we not prophesy in your name , and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles ? Then I will tell them plainly 'I never knew you. Away from me , you evildoers ! '
Those who do not do the will of God can not enter the kingdom of heaven.
But ! church of God that believe Ahnsanghong and Heavenly Mother is keeping the Sabbath day accroding to the bible.
Les't keep the Sabbath day , seventy day , Saturday .
And then , Let's enter the kingdom of heaven together :)
